Year 5 Camp Gear
Year 5s are going to Sonshine ranch on Thursday! Yippee!!!
For those of you who want to get ready during the weekend, here is a copy of the camp gear you will need.
YEAR 5 CAMP GEAR
CLOTHES (Please ensure that all clothing and equipment is clearly named.)
1 Bag
2 pairs of strong outdoor walking shoes
3 pairs of socks
2 T-shirts
2 pairs of shorts
2 sets of underwear
2 sweatshirts
1 pair of tracksuit pants / long pants
1 waterproof jacket
1 sunhat
1 pair of pyjamas
1 pair of togs
3 plastic bags (1 for shoes, 2 for dirty/wet clothes)
SLEEPING GEAR & TOILETRIES
1 sleeping bag
1 pillow case
1 single bed sheet
1 large towel for water confidence course
1 small towel for bathroom use
1 toilet bag with soap, face cloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush/comb
Handkerchief or tissues
Medication if needed (This must be clearly named in a plastic zip lock bag and handed to the class teacher)
You may wish to bring a small soft toy.
MEALS
1 Drink bottle
1 Plastic cup
1 Set of cutlery (knife, fork and spoon)
1 Tea towel
1 Breakfast bowl
1 Morning Tea for Monday
1 Packed Lunch for Monday
1 packet of biscuits for afternoon tea, supper and Monday morning tea
No cell phones, ipods or any other electronic equipment are to be brought on camp. Children will not need any money.

Y5 Camp Parent Information Evening
Parents of Year 5 children: Please take note that we have a camp information evening for parents on Wednesday this week - that is tomorrow:) at 7pm in the school library. Please try to attend! Our camp is booked for 28 February - 1 March. We will also be needing some parent helpers, so put the dates in your diaries!
